Terence Lo

Cellist

Terence Lo recently graduated with his Master's Degree in Cello Performance at the University of Michigan. He is an accomplished soloist as well as a passionate chamber musician. He has been a finalist in competitions such as the Lions of Virginia Bland Competition, Masterworks Festival Concerto Competition, and the University of Illinois Concerto Competition. In addition, he is a prolific chamber musician and has been a finalist in the Coltman Chamber Music Competition as a founding member of the Elara String Quartet. Terence’s other musical interests include historical performance and ethnomusicological studies. He has had the privilege of learning from and performing with distinguished historical performance groups such as the Eybler Quartet and Tafelmusik. Outside of his musical studies, he loves reading, writing, and gardening.
